Reads value from cards, enables equipment to which it is attached, subtracts value from card for products delivered, and can also encode new value on cards. The workhorse of the industry. ITC Systems' Model 1500 handles 3 user groups at 2 possible prices for each group. The reader can be used for print cost control in Novell or Windows networks. Since magnetic stripe user cards can be encoded, a single magnetic stripe card reader constitutes a complete cost control system. Similar functionality can be achieved with ITC Systems' SmartCard version in conjunction with a model 2035 MiniTill. Contact APT for details. |
