In networked environments, ITC Systems' print control (release) software, combined with ITC card readers, is a much more flexible option. For networked printers, the best print cost recovery solution uses ITC Print Queue software and a model 1500 or 2015 card reader. Print jobs on Novell or Windows servers are controlled via 'release stations' (computers supplied by the client - these are not part of this package). Different prices may be set for individual queues. No hardwired interface is required. The system includes optional Server software (needed for larger networks), client (release) software, and 1500 or 2500 reader/encoder(s). Installation of the necessary software in clients' equipment is the responsibility of the client purchasing these services. APT is available for assistance but assumes no other responsibility with respect to network operations.
